Baked Crunchy Fish Tacos

Instead of frying the fish, these Baked Crunchy Fish Tacos are a better choice for your health. The fish is covered in a tasty breadcrumb mixture and baked until its golden brown. Add fresh ingredients and a tangy sauce on top to make a tasty meal.

Ingredients:

  • 4 white fish fillets e

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce optional

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

In a shallow bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper

Dip each fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the mixture onto the fish to coat evenly

Place the coated fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the fish is crispy and cooked through

While the fish is baking, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and hot sauce if using to make the sauce

Warm the taco shells in the oven for a few minutes

To assemble tacos, place shredded lettuce on each taco shell, followed by a baked fish fillet

Top with diced tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and drizzle with the sauce

Serve immediately and enjoy
