Bright Floral Cupcakes

TS West Gulfport

Not only do these bright flower cupcakes taste great, they also look beautiful. Putting bright edible flowers on top of your cupcakes gives them a splash of color and a touch of class. Theyre great for special events or just to make you smile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Assorted edible flowers for decoration
  • Food coloring bright colors
  • Cupcake liners

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

You can line a muffin tin with cupcake liners

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk

Put away

When the butter is soft, put it in a separate large bowl and mix it with the sugar until it is light and fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time and then the vanilla extract

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing them in with the milk every so often

Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk

Dont mix any further than that

Fill each cupcake liner about two thirds of the way to the top with batter

Put a few drops of bright food coloring into each cupcake liner to make the colors stand out

For a marbled look, gently swirl the colors together with a toothpick

After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

After taking the cupcakes out of the oven, let them cool for 5 minutes in the muffin tin before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way through

After the cupcakes are completely cool, put different kinds of edible flowers on top of them

Add a pop of bright floral beauty to each cupcake with flowers that are full of color

Enjoy your lovely, bright floral cupcakes after youre done making them
