This Sparkling Bruleed Grapefruit Paloma is a refreshing take on the classic Paloma cocktail. The caramelized grapefruit slices give it a touch of class. When you mix tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, lime juice, and sparkling water, you get a wonderful balance of flavors.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave nectar
- Sparkling water, to top
- Grapefruit slices, for garnish
- Granulated sugar, for bruleeing
Instructions:
In a shaker, combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave nectar with ice
Shake well until chilled
Strain mixture into a glass filled with ice
Top with sparkling water
Garnish with grapefruit slices
Sprinkle granulated sugar on top of the grapefruit slices
Using a kitchen torch, brulee the sugar until caramelized
Serve immediately
