Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of chocolate frosting
- 1 package of candy melts red or pink
- Heart-shaped cake pop mold
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles optional
Instructions:
As directed on the package, bake the chocolate cake
After the cake has cooled fully, crumble it into a sizable bowl
Mix the chocolate frosting thoroughly with the crumbled cake
Shape the mixture into heart-shaped cake pops using the heart-shaped cake pop mold
Cake pops should be placed on a baking sheet with lollipop sticks inserted into them
As directed on the package, melt the candy melts
Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted candy
While the candy coating is still wet, add sprinkles if desired
After putting the cake pops back on the baking sheet, allow them to cool completely so that the candy coating sets
