Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini Sandwich

Grilled chicken, crispy bacon, melted provolone cheese, and creamy ranch dressing are all pressed between two slices of ciabatta bread to make this Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini Sandwich. It tastes great and filling, and you can eat it for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices bread preferably ciabatta
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lettuce leaves and tomato slices optional, for serving

Instructions:

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper

Grill the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through

Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy

Drain on paper towels and set aside

Spread ranch dressing on one side of each slice of bread

On the other side of 2 bread slices, layer each with a slice of provolone cheese, a grilled chicken breast, 2 slices of bacon, and another slice of provolone cheese

Top with the remaining bread slices, ranch dressing side down

Spread butter on the outsides of the sandwiches

Place the sandwiches on a panini press or grill pan and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes

If desired, add fresh lettuce leaves and tomato slices before serving

Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot
